How can we unlock the energy, wisdom, and commitment of everyone in organizations? Doing so increases engagement, innovation, and performance. We can thrive personally and collectively, and contribute abundantly.
As managing director of the Center for Positive Organizations at the University of Michigan, I am immersed in the science of building high-performing organizations that bring the best out of people. We look at topics such as Positive Leadership, Purpose and Meaning, Relationships, Ethics and Virtues, and Culture in the setting of organizations. For MBA students and executives, I teach and write on navigating organizations to create positive change. My work has been featured in outlets including Fast Company, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Inc, Workforce, Next Billion, Huffington Post, Reuters, Detroit Free Press, Michigan Public Radio, CBS, and Knowledge at Wharton.
Here’s to building a new world of work.
