I am Principal at Positivius, a culture change strategy consulting firm, and a faculty associate at the award-winning Center for Positive Organizations at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. The Center helps leaders build high-performing organizations that bring out the best in people through ground-breaking research, educational programs, and organizational partnerships.

I teach in the MBA and Executive Education programs and Exec at Michigan Ross, and am a recipient of the Ideas Worth Teaching Award for excellence in business education from The Aspen Institute’s Business and Society Program.

I regularly deliver keynotes and workshops. My work has been featured by outlets including Fast Company, Inc., Forbes, CBS, The Huffington Post, and Talent Management Magazine. My wife Katy and I live in Ann Arbor, MI, with our son Crosby, our dog and two cats. Brought up in northwest England, I am a passionate soccer (Real Football) fan.

I proudly serve as Vice President of the Board of Directors of The Neutral Zone, a diverse, youth-driven teen center dedicated to promoting personal growth through artistic expression, community leadership, and the exchange of ideas.
